Tis the season of planning

Link

Well this evening I went to a meeting with ATC to begin plans for the play "Living Out" by Lisa Loomer and directed by Cecelie Keenan. I thought it went very well. When I was walking home I realized starting Feb. - Nov. 2005 I am going to be on the run literally. Seven events and one trip to of all places Kentucky not to mention any unscheduled events. January will be my intensive planning month/celebration month. I'm turning 30!! Nothing like organized madness.

So two theatre productions later and I've just seen the tip of the iceberg. I always get nervous because folks think I know what I'm doing. Chances are I don't and all I can do is hope not to crash and burn. In 2005 "YOU" the wonderful audience of the arts will have an opportunity to go and check out the following:

January 30th

"Mariela In the Desert" Directed by Karen Zacarías

February - Dates TBA

Surrealist Art Show - Flatfile Gallery-Featuring Artist Luis DeLaTorre

March

Luna Negra Dance Theatre - at the Athenaeum Theatre
Teatro Vista Play Reading Series - Venue & Dates TBA

April

Chicago Latino Film Festival - Venues TBA
"Living Out" by Teatro Vista & American Theatre Co.
Beyone the Kitchen Table - Latina Leadership Council

October

Breakfast, Lunch and Dinner - Teatro Vista @ Chopin Theatre
DeLaTorre Fine Arts New Paintings Preview

I had originally counted seven events, but this list looks a bit longer than I thought.

Well everyone involved from the actors, dancers, artists, playwrights and Artistic Directors all put a lot of heart into what they do so you can expect a high caliber of artistry as well as an incredible experience. Definately start putting some of these events in your palm pilots. More detailed info. as the events approach.

The planning includes Kentucky from all places, interesting.

Don't forget to bring a Bible with you.
