by Candido Tirado
Director Ed Sobel

Momma's Boyz" is a gritty urban tale of three young men
from the projects and the decision that leads to the death
of one of them, SHINE; the incarceration of another, THUG and
the total isolation of the third, MIMIC. When MIMIC visits SHINE
at the funeral parlor he wishes he could go back in time. In that
instant, time turns backwards to the point when they made the regretful

Inspired by the timeless and enigmatic persona of Mary Magdalene,
“THE MAGDALENA CANTATA” plays out in a modern setting. The musical

sophisticatedartist who is perpetually haunted by nightmares of her
dead twin, Magdalena de las Rosas.

Leaving Eden
by Chiori Miyagawa
Director Steve Scott

Leaving Eden is a new play inspired by Chekhov's life and stories.
Fifteencharacters appear and disappear and reappear in Russia over
a span of twenty-five years (1880-1905); and then somehow they all
end up at a wedding reception in New York City in the present. The
characters are at once comic and tragic and their journeys complex
in the tradition of Chekhov.

Boleros for the Disenchanted
by José Rivera
Director Chuck Smith

Boleros for the Disenchanted is a love story that begins in 1953, in a small town
in Puerto Rico, where we meet a young engaged woman named Flora. After discovering her
fiancée’s disturbing secret their wedding is canceled and she flees to heal her broken
heart. Flora unexpectedly meets a young National Guardsman named Eusebio and eventually her
destiny becomes clear to her. Thirty-nine years later they're still together and Flora's indomitable
love is tested because of a terrible surprise. How this long-term love affair turns out is the central
question of a play that looks at commitment, hope, passion, and the many intangibles of married life.
